Green Rice Gallery was opened in 2003 by Allison Hertzler, who believed Charlotte needed an art gallery to showcase the work of local, emerging artists.  Five years later in October of 2008, Allison decided to pass the torch to new owner Carla Garrison. An artist herself, Carla has now expanded the gallery to offer more studio space and opportunities to meet the artists and witness their creative processes.

Located in the heart of the NoDa neighborhood, the gallery proudly exhibits works from over 50 artists in a variety of media, including paintings, mosaics, glass, jewelry, pottery, sculpture and more.  The gallery is an inviting space with over 3000 sq. ft. of exhibit area and is frequented by first time buyers as well as art collectors.   

Today Green Rice Gallery's mission continues on in the effort to support local, emerging artists.  Come visit Green Rice Gallery to witness the creative spirit that lives in our own community.
