Jessie Lynn Courson:

Jessie Lynn was born near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1981. She moved down the east coast of the United States most of her childhood, slowly inching towards the south: Pennsylvania, New York state, New Jersey, and finally her beloved N.C. She finished her last two years of high school at the International School of Amsterdam. The art program there and the exposure to traveling the European landscape opened Jessie up to a new world of art.

Jessie Lynn was awarded her Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts with Highest Honors from the University of N.C. in 2003. She now lives on the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, near Washington D.C., with her husband.
