July 25th and 26th - 24 Hours of Booty: Witness 5 of our Artists in action as they paint scenes from the charity-focused road cycling event at the Booty Loop in the Myers Park Neighborhood. There will be a tent set up in Bootyville, located on the Queens College Athletic Field, and you can find our Artists situated along the bike route as they choose unique points of view to commemorate on canvas. Artists will be on-hand on Friday the 25th from 6-8pm, and Saturday the 26th from 10am-7:30pm.

Green Rice Gallery Artists Without Walls Green Rice Gallery Artists Without Walls is going out into the community to paint the world around us. The community will be able to see Green Rice Gallery Artists hard at work and talk with the Artists in person. We as the Artists want to become more involved in the events around Charlotte and share in the beauty that is around us by capturing it in our own individual ways. Along the way we hope to educate and show the community the different styles and approaches one can take to create art. Each Artist has their own methods to creating their work. We invite you the viewer to ask questions and see the different stages in progress. In the end, the final artwork whether finished on site or back in their studios, will be on display and for sale at Green Rice Gallery within the following weeks. We will show you a number of our Artist's portfolios even bring a few small samples of the Artist's original works to help narrow down what you’re looking for. Based off of our first meeting, our next step is to bring a selection of the work to you. Seeing is believing when it’s on your own walls! A small deposit based on the price of the sample works being delivered will be asked for at this time for travel and delivery of work. This deposit can be applied to final purchases of artwork and is nonrefundable. We work directly with our Artists and can create commissions to fit size, color palette, and all budget needs. Green Rice Gallery Artists Without Walls Borrow an Artist for a Day Have a big event coming up and can’t find that unique and creative element to make your day stand out from the rest? Whether it is for a wedding, a birthday, or even a graduation, look no further than our Green Rice Gallery Borrow an Artist for a Day program for your special day. We will send out one of our very own Artists to paint and capture memorable moments during your event right there on site. What a great way to create conversations and have your event remembered for a lifetime. Simply pick your favorite Artist from a list of possible choices, and choose one of the following options: Several quick gestural pencil and charcoal studies created during the event (which you may keep in the end), from which you may then choose the image you like best to be recreated into a one of a kind original painting. * Or have the Artist begin to create one large piece of the main event live on site that they may finish on site or back in the studio for delivery at a later date upon completion.
